Take this opportunity to meet two important Republican candidates: Jim Huffman, opposing 30-year incumbent Senator Ron Wyden and Delia Lopez, opposing equally-entrenched Rep. Ron Blumenauer (OR-3).
Although Blumenauer does not reach into Marion County, we should consider any good opportunity to defeat an incumbent Dem. Delia could be just the one to enable us to wrest back control of the House and fire Speaker Pelosi.
Wyden is especially vulnerable and he is campaigning hard and dirty. As people get to see and listen to Jim Huffman, he impresses them with his strong passion for the Constitution and returning our government to its lawful scope.
There will also be updates on the Marion County E-Verify initiative and opportunities to volunteer as we push to gather the signatures to put the measure on November's ballot.
